One more article prepared during my DPE exchange visit at National Library of the Czech Republic in November 2008. It is a web archiving projects user-oriented review, with PANDORA, WebArchiv, European Archive, UK WAC and MINERVA projects included. These are publicly opened projects, with internet access to all or part of their collections. The scope of the review was analyzing usability and accessibility of the publicly opened web archiving projects, with the aim of identifying user-friendly features associated with mentioned projects web sites.
One part of the review was also a table with comparative data, used in the process of reviewing projects. It shows several key aspects (project documentation, interface design, usability, accessibility, search options) identified as crucial in analyzing user-friendly features. Data is descriptive and mostly established on personal sense and opinion, but it is quite useful for simple comparison.
